Spent the night searching out an elusive Dan Mangan secret show. The Toronto Institute for the Enjoyment of Music was kind enough to host Mangan and his backing band, the Crackling, for a night of sweaty tunes played to the sixty people that fit into the venue, and those who watched from the storefront window. The night culminated in a sing-along on the Queen West streets and a take-over of the sidewalk. I think it could be accurately summarized by Mangan's bassist when he said "I don't think I have ever been so moist."
